I guess given how old I am now, the chances of me meeting anyone have now gone for ever. I don't really understand why God would do this. Why would he make someone who gew up starved of affection, but with abig heart so that despite that they wanted to give it. Why would God do thatm, and then decide that they should never be with anyone. Why?

Everytime you tell yourself that, you increase the chance that it'll never happen because you're conditioning yourself to that eventuality.
You should concentrate on yourself, because when you become happy with yourself,and begin to show that, other people will see it too. Become who you are, and work towards being all that which you can be. Happniess come from who and what you are inside, not from outside :)
