I think the anonymous poster is right i need a feel-good factor!
By the end of March/beginning April my credit cards will be paid off. I'm not sure about a holiday in the sun though. I would have to go on my own, and i don't really have the confidence to do that. I am thinking about going on a pottery weekend though. Start small and work upwards!
The repairs on the car came to 355 quid. Luckily i had a 50 quid off voucher, so it was down to just over 300. I put it onto the card, and i am going to try and pay off 100 each month, so that it will be paid off completely at the same time as the card which has got the most on it. I don't know if i can achieve this, but i'm going to try. I also need to think about putting away something like 75 quid a month to pay for car repairs, so that i don't get caught short again. I swear i'm not spending more, but my outgoings seem to be increasing too rapidly. I guess part of that is because previously i was putting it all on credit cards and now i'm paying that off (still) as well is trying not to add too much to my debt. Compared to a lot of people my debt is very very small!
